Having experienced little joy with multi-blade cartridge razors and aerosol gels, I recently decided to try delving into the lost art of the traditional wet shave. Was it worth it? I’ll get back to you on that one in a few weeks …

Wet shaving is a chore to most people. If you use a straight razor it’s more of an art form you should be keen to perfect. There’s nothing more manly than lathering up some shaving soap and going at it cleanly with an old school razor!
I can’t agree more. I just bought a DE razor from Merkur and have been getting amazing results. A close shave every time and 0 irritation, which is important to me as even looking at my face makes it go red..
