- A valid email address
Once you’ve successfully placed your order, our system will send you a special email containing your own custom download link. Simply click the link or copy/paste the URL into your browser to instantly access the file. The custom download link will only last 24 hours, so make sure you download the file to your hard disk straight away!
- A copy of Adobe Reader
Now you have your copy of the e-book, you’ll need a way of opening the .pdf file. To do that, simply download and install Adobe Reader for Windows, Mac or Linux.
I purchased an e-book, but I haven’t received my e-mail link!
E-mails are sent automatically from our system once you’ve successfully completed your transaction at PayPal. Please ensure you’ve performed the following steps before contacting us:
- Wait half an hour
There are times when our system may become temporarily overloaded; please wait at least thirty minutes to allow our system to catch up.
- Check your spam box
Your email hosting company (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc) may have inadvertently mistaken our automated response system as a ‘spam’ robot and misplaced your message. Take a quick look in your ‘junk/spam mail’ folder to see if it hasn’t been accidentally redirected.
- Did you complete the transaction?
We all occasionally forget to click ‘confirm’ or complete the final stages of the checkout process. If the transaction was done correctly you should also have an e-mail from PayPal confirming your payment and a note of the purchase in your PayPal account.
- Make sure you’re checking the correct inbox
Many people have more than one email account. Check all your inboxes to make sure you didn’t accidentally enter an alternative email address!
If you’re still having issues, contact us via e-mail or send us a message using the form on the main site.
Ooer! After paying it says “You’re about to send data to an unencrypted connection. Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?” and I’m scared!!!
You needn’t be. This is your browser’s way of saying, “You’re leaving the safety of the secure, encrypted page and heading back to the normal, everday internet again”; it’s just a friendly reminder, but worded to sound as if you’re about to do something catastrophic!
I could download/access my file for a day, but now it comes up ‘Link Expired’!!!
Our ordering system gives you a special download link that’s only valid for 24 hours. After that time, you can no longer gain access. For this reason ensure a) you download a copy of the file, and not just ‘view’ it and b) you keep a backup of your chosen e-book(s) in case your hard disk crashes or you accidentally erase it.
I can’t seem to open the file?!
Make sure that you’ve correctly installed Adobe Reader and followed any on screen instructions. If you already own a copy of the reader software, try updating it to the latest version available for your operating system.
If you continue to have difficulties, download the file again; you may have accidentally cut off the download before it was complete.
Whoops! I’ve deleted the file by mistake!
Unfortunately, accidents do happen – this is why we recommend you make a backup copy of your e-book(s) so you can restore the file(s) at a later date if needed.
Don’t forget, download links are valid for 24 hours, so if your snafu occurred early you may still have time to grab another copy of the book(s)!
Can I have a high-resolution ‘print quality’ version of the book?
Due to the terms and conditions applied to some of the imagery used within the e-books, I’m afraid only home-use, ‘screen resolution’ editions of the books are available at this time. However, any print-outs made on your home equipment should look more than adequate.
How should I view my book?
For the optimum viewing experience, you should open your e-book using Adobe’s Reader software – available on PC, Mac and Linux. For the best reading experience you should set the view mode to ‘show pages side-by-side’; you can achieve this by clicking the appropriate button on the menu.
Do you run an affiliate scheme?
Not at this current time. News on any potential schemes will be listed on this website, although it’s unlikely that we’ll begin offering this service for the Male Wardrobe Essentials e-book, I’m afraid.
