In the film stand by me, the boys wear their pants really high-why??? It's a bit weird coz in those days braces were used for hiking your pants up rather than just for fashion!

I disagree. I find the prints to be tacky, the quality sub-par, and the prices just ludicrous. Why would you spend $100+ on a shirt that is not even formal enough for an average 9-5 business job? I predict a run of 5 years in this business.

I like the site and their service. My orders always arrive on time and as I'm expecting. It's good quality for the price.

Just seen this web-site while looking for something else! Interesting subject and comments; why would anybody be embrassed I cannot imagine! Like Edward B, I always used to wear braces when I was young as the trousers my mother used to buy were designed for them, with a high waist and a fish tail back for the button on variety and this continued when I graduated to long trousers. I seem to recall that most of my school mates worn them, it was just the done thing. I stopped wearing them in late teens but found belts less comfortable so I started wearing them again in early twenties and have never looked back. With ordinary trousers I used to find the straps falling off the sholders so I went back to the high waist, but then I found braces with the Y back. It is possible to still get high waist fish tail back trousers; have a look at the Old Town website; they do what they call Vauxhalls, that have quite a modern look and are really comfortable to wear. You can get reto style Levi jeans these days too, with brace buttons and no belt loops. My wife prefers me not to show them with trousers, although it does not bother me and as I never wear a jumper or waistcoat, so they are on show as soon as I take my jacket off, but she loves them on jeans. Go for it boys!

Be careful. The suits are lowish quality - mine fitted but was no better than an off the peg suit in terms of quality.
Also be careful with reviews as tailor4less challenges negative reviews on sites such as trustpilot. So unless you are willing to have the company verify your purchase (ie. let a company that has your address and credit card details identify you) the negative reviews are removed. Thus the stats don't tell the full story.

I would agree with the article. Elias is a fantastic original pen with great style. Its the closest feel to a fountain pen without it having the mess, and wires more consistent. It smears less than fountain ink and doesn't bleed through the page as much either. It impresses clients, which is worth money in itself and is comfortable. The ink lasts a little longer than a fountain pen, but certainly not as long as some ball points. Mine doesn't smear on paper at all. I haven't tried signing a receipt with it yet. But if you are writing on glossy paper, you might need a space pen instead. Otherwise, Parker hit a home run with this one.

Good review, but it would have been really nice to see some pictures of the suit and the shirt.
